My work is always telling a story whether in watercolor illustrations for children's picture books, a clay mosaic depiction of a Native American Mother mourning missing and murdered women and girls or realistic birds in a wind chime motif. I love the delicacy of watercolor washes, the play of light over ceramic surfaces and the patterns created through repeated components making a decorative whole.
